Our Story
In 1962, Said Sidaoui while working multiple jobs ventured into his passion for Lebanese foods. Said as the first person to introduce genuine Middle Eastern foods and ingredients to the Australian market has etched his name into Australian history for generations to come.
In 1976, Said's only son Omar, followed in the footsteps of his father to join the family business.
Working hard alongside his father and studying his every move saw Omar grow into his role, naturally. Building the brand into the company it is today Omar has began to welcome the third generation, Emma and Saeed.
With three generations of Sidaoui’s now deeply entrenched in their father and grandfather’s dream, the family business now supplies hundreds of restaurants, major hotels, health food stores shops and other specialty wholesalers around Australia, priding itself on quality products and excellent service.
With a number of subsidiaries including Nuts About Life, Healthy Necessities, NSM Royal Tahini and Quickie in the Kitchen, NSM Foods continues on the path set in motion by its founder; the late Said Sidaoui.
Our Specialties
Specialty ingredients including Ras-al-Hanout, Barberries, Dukkah, Za’atar, Iranian fairy floss, Rose & Orange Blossom Water are available.
With our network of suppliers, NSM Foods has gained competitive advantage in sourcing an array of exotic products. This combined with our packing, roasting and blending facilities means we are a one-stop-shop for upcoming and well-established brands.
We manufacture a number of products in-house including our own Tahini and Halva, Date Rolls, Protein Balls, Flavoured Nuts, Grains & Seeds etc.
