Large whole discs, hard and well filled, uniform in size and of varied shades of light brown to green. Should be of natural colour with minimal discoloration, dried or broken pieces and free of moisture, mould and infestations.
Pale to medium green discs.
Should be free from any musty or other objectionable odours and taints.
Should be firm, free flowing lentils and not joined together.
