Should be medium, oval shaped beans with minimal split/broken pieces and free from moisture, mould and infestation. Widely accepted as substitute for Cannelini Beans.

    Should be firm beans, free flowing and not joined together.

    98% minimum by weight of Great Northern Bean seed material
  • Moisture
    15% maximum
  • Foreign Material
    0.25% maximum by weight of which no more than 0.1% shall be unmillable material (stones, dirt balls etc.)
  • Damaged Seeds
    1% maximum by weight of defective beans or poor colour beans 1% maximum of contrasting class or classes that blend
